The Social Excellence™ Series

Virtual Event in Partnership with NGLA
February 23-24, 2021
In a partnership between The Northeast Greek Leadership Association and Phired Up, this annual event provides fraternity/sorority members, advisors, and professionals an intensive and experiential educational opportunity to prepare themselves as the world's best connectors, relationship-builders, influencers, and group gatherers.
This event is free to those registered to attend the 2021 NGLA Virtual Conference.
Q. What is the Social Excellence™ Series?

A. Social Excellence prepares individuals to build meaningful connections with others so that they can organize and make the world a better place. People who choose to incorporate Social Excellence into their life will be better prepared to lead their organizations, collaborate with others, engage in meaningful conversations about the important issues of society, gather others together around causes that matter to them, grow the organizations/groups they care about, and make a meaningful impact on the world. Social Excellence is about making momentary choices that lead to deeper levels of human connection, and in a world that is becoming more disconnected, more divided, and less “human” by the moment, these choices are more important than ever.

The Social Excellence Series, comprised of four 60-minute virtual educational sessions that are best experienced by attending all sessions (but participants are welcome to join the sessions that work for them), will provide a framework and philosophy for individuals to use as student leaders, as professionals, and as engaged citizens in a world that needs you now more than ever.

Q. Who can attend?

A. This series is free for anyone registered to attend the 2021 NGLA Virtual Conference. Students, professionals, and volunteers from fraternities and sororities are welcome. Participants will not be divided up by title, role, or whether they’re a student or professional. All participants will be engaged as learning humans who have an impact to make on the world around them.

Q. When is it?

A. The Social Excellence Series, exclusively for participants of the 2021 NGLA Virtual Conference, is a four-hour event spanning two days: This is a virtual learning experience. Participants will engage with the live sessions directly through NGLA’s program guide within the Whova app (which will utilize Zoom).
