What is the Companion App?

The Companion App is an applcation designed for students entering the recruitment process. It is seamlessly integrated with CampusDirector, our online recruitment tool, making it easier for users to enter selections and manage the recruitment experience. Not only is it easy and a huge time saver, but the Companion App allows users to safely and securely view their schedule, view messages and educational recruitment videos, connect with their recruitment guides, and enter selections for each round of recruitment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can students make their selections any time?

As the council admin, you control when students can login and edit their selections. You manage all of this through the CampusDirector platform, so put your anxiety to rest and know your stuens will still have the same experience entering selections as they always have.

Do we still need to use recruitment counselors?

That’s up to you, but we would certainly still recommend it. Recruitment Counselors play such an integral role in the recruitment process and with the recruitment experience. The app just gives students a place to keep everything organized so they aren’t worrying about a notebook, their paper schedule, finding your contact information, and getting messages.

How can we customize the information shared?

You still have the ability to customize and send messages to students through the Message of the Day that pushes through to the Companion App.

Does the App cost money for students?

The cost of the app is now included in the pricing structure of CampusDirector, contact us for more details on pricing at sales@phiredup.com.

Do students register for recruitment using the Companion App?

Not yet, they still register from your CampusDirector landing page.

The app can be downloaded both in the Apple app store and the Google Play store for Android users.
